Arrival: Please arrive 5 - 10 minutes before your workshop start time so we can begin promptly.

Parking: There is on-street parking nearby and public car parks on Church Street, just a short walk from the cake school.

Refreshments: Most classes include drinks and snacks, please check the individual workshop description for what’s provided.

Age guidance: Age suitability is shown on each workshop. Children’s classes are designed for specific age ranges.

Cancellations & transfers: Workshop bookings are non-refundable. In some cases we may be able to transfer you to another date, subject to availability and at Zara Cakes’ discretion, please see our Refund Policy for full details.

Accessibility & additional needs: If you or a guest has disabilities or extra support needs, please tell us when you book so we can advise on the best class and any adjustments we can make.

Q: Where do the workshops take place?

A: Our classes run at Zara Cake School in Accrington : 37 Church Street, Accrington, BB5 3EN.

Q: What do I need to bring with me?

A: Just yourself, we provide all ingredients, tools, aprons and packaging for you to take your treats home.

Q: Do I get to take everything I make home?

A: Yes, you’ll box up your bakes at the end of the class to take home and enjoy.

Q: Can you cater for dietary requirements or allergies?

A: We work with ingredients that may contain common allergens but some classes can be adapted – please tell us about any allergies before booking so we can advise.

Q: How long does a workshop last?

A: Most workshops are around 2 hours, but some special classes may run longer, timings are listed on each workshop page.

Q: Can parents stay during children’s workshops?

A: Yes, but space is limited, so usually one or two adults can stay. You can also pop out for a coffee and return just before the end. For younger children or those with additional needs, we recommend an adult stays with them.
