Allow all cakes and cupcakes to stand for 1 – 2 hours at room temperature before serving.

Packing Information

We use recyclable cardboard boxes made to fit our products and prevent movement during transport.

Storage & Shelf Life

Keep refrigerated (0 - 5°C). Allow 1 - 2 hours at room temperature before serving.
Best consumed within 3 days of collection/delivery.
Once cut, store in an airtight container.

Collection: You can collect your order from our Accrington Store:

Opening times: Please check our opening hours before you travel. We’re not responsible if the store is closed and a collection is missed.
Local delivery: Available within a 6 mile radius of either store. Delivery charges may apply and are calculated at checkout.

This product is too large, tall or delicate to send by national courier, so it is not eligible for shipping.

- Delivered by Zara Cakes in-house team or a trusted courier.

- You may book your own driver or courier to collect on your behalf and inform the Zara Cakes store when courier is expected to arrive.
- Once the order leaves our premises, Zara Cakes is not responsible for any damage caused during transport by third-party services.
- Please ensure your driver has a clean, flat boot space and is aware that they are transporting a fragile item.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do you ship cakes nationwide?

A: We ship selected products such as cupcakes, doughnuts, treats and smaller cakes that are marked as shippable at checkout.

Q: Which cakes can’t be shipped?

A: Wedding cakes, multi-tier cakes and very tall or fragile designs are collection or local/bespoke delivery only.

Q: Can I send an Uber / taxi / courier to collect my cake?

A: Yes but once the cake leaves the shop, any damage in transit is the customer’s responsibility. Please make sure they’re booked for the correct day and collection time to ensure your order is ready and that they have your full name and order details.

Q: What if no one is in for delivery?

A: We’ll try to contact you; redelivery isn’t guaranteed and may incur an extra fee.

Q: Can I ship some items and collect others in the same order?

A: If your basket contains a non-shippable item, the national shipping option won’t appear for that order. If you’d like some items shipped and others collected, please place them as separate orders so the correct shipping options show at checkout.

Q: When will I see delivery or collection dates?

A: Available dates and time slots are shown at checkout for shipping, local delivery and collection. These are based on the product’s lead time, which includes preparation and any correspondence needed before your order is ready.

Q: Do you cater for allergies or special diets?

A: Please check the product description and allergen info and contact us before ordering for serious allergies or special requirements. All our bakes are made in the same kitchen so while we take great care, we can’t guarantee there won’t be any cross-contamination.
